Hello everyone! I’m a former student of the D.A 1.5 Dental Assisting school who graduated in September and all I can say is that If you’re interested in a DA program, this is the ONE. Attending the program was one of the best experiences of my career. It may be challenging at first but once you get the hang of how things function, everything will be a breeze. Keep in mind though, Dr. Yen is very tough on anyone and everyone but it’s only because she truly cares about your success. Not only are you getting the education you deserve, but also hands-on experience with live patients! This is something that every dental office is looking for! Through Dr. Yen and by taking this program, we are given so many connections and opportunities that aren’t given to other DA programs! This being said, make sure to get your resumes out there even before the program ends! We can’t stress that enough. Even after we have graduated, Dr. Yen makes sure to check in to see how we are doing and whether we have found our dental home; something that is to be appreciated. Don’t hesitate in doing something good for yourself and take advantage of this amazing opportunity to learn from some of the best! I wholeheartedly recommend this program to everyone out there interested in dental assisting as I will never regret the decision I made.
